This 3 day Lantra certified woodfuel supply chain course provides knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of wood fuel production and supply. Training will be delivered by Rural Development Initiatives Ltd and Kevin Lindegaard of Crops for Energy. Kevin was formerly the Renewable Energy Officer at Dorset County Council and Senior Project Manager at the Centre for Sustainable Energy. Who should attend?
This course is intended for those within the farming and woodland sector who may wish to expand or diversify into the woodfuel market.
The course has been organised by The Silvanus Trust, working in association with Rural Development Initiatives, Duchy College and the South West Vocational Training Scheme.
Participants attending all 3 days and meeting the eligibility of the Vocational Training Scheme will be fully funded*, otherwise the full course fees are £300, including lunch, refreshments and Lantra registration.
