Heat Metering for the RHI – Get it Right First Time

09/05/2013

Event Details

Many people are looking to the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) to underpin growth in renewable technologies such as solar thermal, heat pumps and biomass heating.  Unfortunately, Ofgem’s first quarterly report shows that 95% of applications were returned due to significant flaws.   Apart from inconsistent, incomplete and confusing supporting information, Ofgem suggest that metering the amount of heat generated by eligible technologies had been a major stumbling block for applicants.

Instructed by experienced engineers from Gastec at CRE, the course content will provide essential best practice guidance on the selection of the most appropriate meter, the correct location of heat meters, data collection and handling techniques and site specific considerations.  Anyone interested in the RHI and involved in, or affected by, the making of RHI applications, should attend.   The workshop format promises to offer more opportunity for group participation and so numbers are limited.

Cost:  £35+VAT (with funding*), £175+VAT (without funding)

Course fees cover all course material, refreshments and lunch as well as post course mentoring (by telephone or e-mail).
