A one day course covering the chain of custody licences and criteria. This is part of the requirements to become an auditor for Grown in Britain licences but is equally useful to those wishing to apply for a chain of custody licence.
This course is an introduction to the Grown in Britain Standard, it’s general requirements and the different categories of the licence.
The course involves detailed presentations on how these should be audited for compliance with the Standard for all License types, from woodlands & primary processors through to manufacturers & retail of wood products and is completed with a written test.
The day includes:
- requirements for record keeping
- analysis of evidence and developing evidentiary findings
- dealing with non-conformances
- report writing and a written assessment
Qualification to audit Licensees will depend upon passing the written test at the end of the course.
