On the 6th July the Woodland Trust and the Royal Forestry Society Yorkshire Division hosted a seminar on the restoration of plantations on ancient woodland sites at Robson’s Spring near Helmsley, North Yorkshire.  Yorwoods were in attendance as part of their role in helping the Woodland Trust to identify and support PAWS owners in the Yorkshire region.

Basic Wildfire Training gives attendees an appreciation of wildfire development, behaviour and influencing factors and how they should be suppressed or fought with due regard for health and safety.  The next course will be run on Friday 28th September 2012 and is being partly funded through a grant from CPRE Wensleydale.
