Forest Education Network (FEN) Networking Day

Chopwell Woodland Park, Hookergate, Nr High Spen, Gateshead NE39 1LT, Friday October 18th, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event aims to provide a forum for exchange for those involved in woodland related learning and will be held at the flagship partnership woodland Chopwell Woodland Park, near Gateshead. During the day there will be a chance to look at the activity delivered in this strong partnership and other active projects in the area and give those attending an opportunity to take part in some great learning activities that make links between trees and woods, the wood culture in the area and the curriculum. This event is free to attend and is supported by the Forestry Commission, the Friends of Chopwell Wood, Groundwork North East and the Royal Forestry Society.
