With at least 50 cost centres running at any one time, RDI’s financial systems have been built around the needs of our public sector funders and clients to ensure transparency, accountability and probity in the use of public funds. We have made a heavy investment in IT systems which integrate our three principal offices and home workers within a single robust framework, this includes multiple system and redundancy and offsite secure data storage.
Through the latest Microsoft business packages staff are able to access the company intranet from anywhere in the country and, depending on access privileges, can view purchase invoices, correspondence and claims documentation. Our detailed financial tracking systems ensure that even the smallest item of expenditure can be traced to an individual member of staff and allocated to the correct project. Our financial systems have previously been highlighted by EU Programme Management Executives as examples of best practice which could be used as a model for other ESF applicants.
