Events and Shows 

We believe that shows, events and displays are a key tool for engaging with project stakeholders and, more importantly, showing the wider world what rural business has to offer.  We have well established partnerships with public sector bodies to run shows and events on their behalf, including the forestry arena at the Great Yorkshire Show and the forestry stand at the Turriff Show in Aberdeenshire.  The Great Yorkshire Show is the largest regional forestry show in England, featuring live demonstrations and the ever-popular British Pole Climbing Championships!  The forestry arena attracted over 130,000 people in 2007.

We regularly pick up rosettes at county shows for our popular and high-quality stands which promote everything from renewable energy to tree planting and careers.  Always up for a challenge, we helped Nissan UK launch their new pick-up to the European motoring press and parked a harvester on the lawn outside Newcastle Civic Centre to promote the forestry industry. 

Conferences

Back in 2003, a bit of innovative thinking combined with our excellent project management skills resulted in the first highly successful national Wildfire conference, Wildfire 2003.   We have built on this success and the fourth Wildfire conference, Wildfire 2009, is currently in the planning stages for June 2009 and will be the biggest and best to date. 

We are currently organising a major national wood fuel expo, Ignition09, which will be held at the prestigious Sage Gateshead in Tyneside.  This high profile event will be the first national exhibition dedicated to wood fuel.
